BLSGA COMPETITION RULES:
OPEN MEETINGS:
There will be 2 divisions, Silver (Division 1) and Bronze (Division 2) .The divisions will be equal in number and the handicap index for the split will be set each year once all the fees have been paid and will remain the same for the whole season. There will be four prizes in each division.
SILVER ( Division 1) & BRONZE (Division 2) TROPHIES
Aggregate of a player’s 4 best scores.
If the lowest score is recorded more than once the latest score must be used. (in case of countback).
All scores will count in the division the player is in on the last day of the Buchan Seniors season based on handicap index.
Ties will be resolved by who had the best last counting score and working back through the counting scores. If there is still a tie normal count back rules will apply (take the last counting score then best last 9, last 6, last 3, last 1 and if still tied working back hole by hole from the eighteenth.)
TWILIGHT TROPHY
For ages 65-69
You must be in the age category by the first meeting of the season.
Aggregate of a player’s 4 best scores.
Ties will be resolved by who had the best last counting score and working back through the counting scores. If there is still a tie normal count back rules will apply (take the last counting score then best last 9, last 6, last 3, last 1 and if still tied working back hole by hole from the eighteenth.)
VINTAGE VETS
For ages 70+
You must be in the age category by the first meeting of the season.
